About
Big energy, big imagination, and even bigger fun!
Our Circus Arts class for 6-8 year olds is designed to channel kids’ natural energy into confidence-building, skill-based play. It’s a great way to explore the world of circus through games, creative challenges and hands-on experience with real circus equipment – all in a safe, supportive and non-competitive environment.
Each week, kids rotate through a mix of circus activities including:
🎪 Balancing on beams or tightwires
🎪 Tumbling, jumping and group pyramids
🎪 Object play like hoops, scarves or juggling
🎪 Introductory aerials (low trapeze or silks)
Whether your child is new to circus or ready to take the next step from our younger classes, this 90-minute session offers challenge, creativity and loads of fun – with no week quite the same!
What they’ll gain (besides a big smile):
💫 Improved strength, flexibility and coordination
💫 A boost in confidence and focus
💫 Social skills like teamwork, communication and resilience
Classes begin with a group warm-up, followed by smaller activity groups led by our experienced and friendly trainers.
A fun, physical outlet that helps kids grow — inside and out.
What to Wear and Bring
Circus is loads of fun — but safety is always our top priority. To help keep your child safe and comfortable while they explore and play, we ask families to support our safety culture by following these simple guidelines:
-
Hair: Long hair must be tied back before class.
-
Jewellery: Please remove all jewellery before arriving.
-
Clothing: Comfy, stretchy clothes that allow movement are best — think leggings or shorts with a fitted t-shirt. Avoid anything baggy, with zips, buttons, or pockets, as these can get caught.
Circus Arts t-shirts are available for purchase if you’d like one! -
Footwear: Runners or sneakers into the building; bare feet or sticky socks for training. (Sticky socks are available to buy at the front desk.)
-
Water: Bring a clearly labelled, non-glass water bottle.
Please arrive on time — children who miss the warm-up (more than 15 minutes late) won’t be able to join the class that day.
Thanks for helping us keep circus safe and fun for everyone!
Our friendly admin team will be in touch to confirm your enrolment. To secure a spot, a deposit equal to 3 weeks of the term fees is required upon enrolment and before the start of term. All amounts are inclusive of GST.
