Join us at Australia’s National Youth Circus for the 2026 National Training Project.

The National Training Project is an opportunity for circus students around the country to train with Australia’s finest circus artists and coaches. The NTP is a two-week winter training intensive for anyone with a serious thirst for progression and development in multiple circus disciplines. The program is open to artists with existing skills, a passion for circus and lots of energy.

Our NTP coaching team features some of Australia’s best circus artists and trainers. With a focus on creative process and high-level skills training, the National Training Project is designed specifically for anyone serious about a career in circus, and a chance for those already working in the industry to improve and refine their skills.

Registration Info

Week 1: 29 June – 3 July 2026
Week 2: 6 – 10 July 2026

Age: For participants aged 12 and over

Cost: 

$710 – Single week  

$1,300 – Both weeks

Travelling to Albury

Accommodation
Albury Wodonga has a range of accommodation to suit any budget. A full list of accommodation options can be found online or simply get in touch with the Albury Visitor Information Centre – they’ll help you find the perfect place
to stay.

Travel
Situated on the New South Wales and Victorian border, Albury Wodonga has a major regional airport and easy road and rail access from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. V/Line and NSW TrainLink have a number of daily train and bus services connecting Albury with New South Wales and Victorian locations. For those flying, direct flights depart Melbourne and Sydney daily, with a limited direct service from Brisbane. 

Cancellation Policy

While every care has been taken in the preparation of the National Training Project (NTP), the Flying Fruit Fly Circus reserves the right to alter details of programs at any stage.

All classes are subject to a minimum and maximum number of participants. Wherever possible a student to trainer ratio of 5:1 will be observed. If a particular class is cancelled or altered because of ratio, safety or any other reason, you will be notified as soon as practicable.

Refunds will only be issued if notice is given in writing at least one month in advance. If notice is given within this time, the fee will be refunded less 10% for administration costs.

If notice is given within one month of the start of NTP, the registration can be transferred to another participant, you can apply for a credit note for a future NTP, or you can apply for a 50% refund. Please note t-shirt and ticket purchases are not able to be refunded in this time.
