Free creative space for circus and physical theatre artists in the heart of Albury
Creative Space
Creative Space provides opportunities for individual artists, groups and small-scale companies to join our circus and regional community for an agreed period of time to create circus and physical theatre works. Visiting artists receive free access to our training facilities, mentorship and support from our trainers and subsidised accommodation to help create innovative new works. Participants are able to contribute to the education of our young artists with workshops, masterclasses or informal showings.
Since 2016 artists and companies such as Company 2, Maya Tregonning, Maite Miramontes, One Fell Swoop, Oddity, Lalla and the Amazing Other, Wildhouse Circus, Jugg Life, Point & Flex Circus, and Gravity Dolls have developed work through the Creative Space program.
Submissions are accepted year-round. We endeavour to get back to applications within 4 weeks of application submission.
