Emerging and established circus and physical theatre artists in Australia are now being invited to apply for the 2025 Under Construction Creative Residency program at the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.
Under Construction supports artists to develop and perform original new circus and physical theatre works. With $5,000 cash, two weeks of rehearsal space and accommodation in Albury, the residencies provide structure for creative development, concluding with a work-in-progress showing or performance at the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.
Past works that have been developed through Under Construction include Airborne (A Good Catch Circus), Primal (Highwire Entertainment), Escalate (Throw Catch Collective), Rodeo Clown (Nicci Wilks) and Worldwide Repair Technicians (acrobat).
