The Certificate III in Circus Arts provides a vocational qualification in elementary circus skills and knowledge. This course is suitable for aspiring young circus artists seeking a nationally recognised qualification and as a pathway to further learning at NICA or other tertiary institutions.
The Certificate III is delivered over two years, and areas of learning include:
- Small group circus or physical theatre performance
- Performance skills for circus and physical theatre
- Movement skills for circus and physical theatre
Students are strongly encouraged to participate in this program, which is offered with no additional fee to the student. In collaboration with Swinburne University of Technology with NICA and Wodonga Senior Secondary College, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus is the only organisation in Australia currently delivering this qualification.
