Bouncing River Kids

Burranha Bila Buraay: Bouncing River Kids is our school program for young Aboriginal people in the Albury area, promoting confidence, wellbeing and leadership in a supportive creative environment.

In partnership with Albury City Council and local schools, an ensemble is chosen each year to participate in weekly workshops at the Circus. Burranha Bila Buraay has been running for over 10 years. In 2018 we launched Bouncing River Leaders in partnership with James Fallon High School – a circus and leadership program for secondary students.

The program has demonstrated outstanding results for young people since its inception. The creative training allows young people to channel energy positively, exposing them to an environment that fosters teamwork and individual learning development. It has proven to increase ongoing school attendance.
