Academic Success
Up to Year 9, students are automatically enrolled into our Flying Fruit Fly Circus School, a specialist school within the Victorian public education system that is exclusive to our young acrobats. Our school’s unique structure and culture enables primary and secondary age students to concentrate on circus and performing arts without jeopardising academic success.

From Years 10-12 our academic partner is the Wodonga Senior Secondary College. In collaboration with us and the National Institute of Circus Arts, the college delivers a Certificate III in Circus Arts, a nationally recognised qualification.
Wodonga Senior Secondary College is one of Victoria’s largest senior colleges known for its extensive curriculum choice, cutting edge approach to education, and varied learning experiences. It proudly offers the greatest choice for secondary education in Wodonga and the ability to enable all students to choose their individually suited Pathways for success including circus.

Our students are a close knit and supportive cohort of young people and each individual within our school community is a valued member of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus family of students, parents and teachers.
We have a high expectation of commitment from our students, not only to their chosen specialist circus training but also to their academic studies. We offer a comprehensive education program and students are expected to aim for excellence in all areas of the curriculum, student leadership and social interactions.
Students are supported with personal counselling and careers information to assist in the transition from school to the years beyond, providing a choice of opportunities to complement their chosen specialty of circus and performing arts.
